When I see the word muse it actually makes me think to amuse. How is it that when you muse you are a deep thinker, but when you amuse you are funny? Well, in general, I enjoy the latter rather then the first. Sure, I can get serious with the best of them. And, if you look at other blogs I’ve written, you will see this to be the case. But, my first love is humor. After all, I think we all just take life a little too seriously sometimes!

So, I’m going to get real (well in a tongue and cheek kind of way) today and share with you one of my biggest pet peeves– deep thinkers. I tend to completely tune out when someone starts getting analytical. Now, I consider myself intelligent and it’s not that I can’t follow along. I just truly get annoyed by the people that waste time using big fancy words. This while flaunting the philosophical degree that they have, which has added numerous letters to the end of their name! Yes, I figured you were smart when you walked in with that big head- but, what are you doing to make a difference in the world? And that is my two sense for today. Deep…I know.

Another great post! Love humor too.
“I just truly get annoyed by the people that waist time using big fancy words and flaunting the philosophical degree that they have which now has added numerous letter to thee end of their name!”
Look at this sentence, look at it real hard.
I misspelled “waste”?
Ugh, my grammar was not great today. Quickly written. Thanks 😉
As one of those people with all the letters after their name, I’m happy to assist.
And “letter” needs an S and “the” doesn’t require a backup E. When you pull punches with the educated, it’s a good idea to proofread the crap out of your rant beforehand.
Lol! Well as a teacher myself my head is hanging low 😉 Honestly, my fingers got away from me this morning, oh boy!
That’s so very true, I love listening to interesting conversation and people but I truly hate someone who continuously shows off.
I enjoyed the way you let the post flow 😃 you made good use of the daily prompt.
