Yes, No, Perchance

“Today is your own. Tomorrow perchance may never come.” ~Swami Sivananda

One of the answers that most people (specially kids) don’t want to hear is, “maybe.” But, I will tell you, it drives me bonkers when someone just cannot give me a straight answer, as well! I believe to state,”maybe” is like fingernails on a chalk board for me. I just want an answer, a real response, I do NOT want to wait! Perhaps it is my lack of patience or need to plan, both are big issues with me, I confess. Or, maybe, I get the feeling that it is a copout one is making for a decision that needs made. Either way, please don’t tell me maybe!

“The word maybe was beginning to annoy me, because the only thing that was fixed was that maybe would be with me forever.”~Markus Zusak, Underdog

For your entertainment, I have included a link one of my biggest pet-peeve songs.           Carly Rae Jepsen – “Call Me Maybe”

  1. There is a chance that the maybeer doesn’t know the answer for sure. Perhaps. 🙂
