βThe path to our destination is not always a straight one. We go down the wrong road, we get lost, we turn back. Maybe it doesn’t matter which road we embark on. Maybe what matters is that we embark.β ~Barbara Hall
The countryside of Vermont has so many little back roads. One of our favorite things to do in the fall was to travel some of the places we’d never been before. At times we could nearly get lost in the winding roads, some even turning to dirt ways.
Life is like this path. If you don’t risk taking chances, getting lost and going to places you have never been- you will miss out on the beauty of the journey.

Always pretty up there, even in the dead of winter (though I can only take that for a few days). My brother and his wife both went to Middlebury and still have a vacation home in Goshen.
Very nice! Yes, since moving south I miss Vermont fall- but not the winters or cold!
