Finding beauty even in the midst of sorrow. For me there is just something about photographs of grave yards that is so serene. I couldn’t help but capture this one, with the rod-iron fence and the beautiful fall colors in the background. For some it may seem odd, but why not celebrate beauty wherever we can find it.

That is beautiful! Perhaps it sounds strange but may i say that i love cemeteries as they provide me with a special feeling – sweet sadness and serenity. When i first visited Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris i fell in love with its nature and architecture, it was breathtaking!
Oh I’d love to visit their! Thank you for sharing 🙂
Very smart picture for the title! 🙂 Colorful pic too!
Thank you 🙂
I love graveyards especially really really old ones.
A mate of dads used to plan his holidays by what graveyards he could see, although he did work at a bakery (as he called the crematorium) for 35 years so it was a bit of an obsession with him.
Haha! Love it, thanks for sharing 🙂
How serene and thought provoking for me. Cemeteries always leave a profound impression on my mind.
Yes, me too. Thank you!
Cemeteries have a lot of beauty. It’s another kind of beauty but if we go to the works by poets, there are many poems about the beauty of a cemetery. I used to love going with my brother and walk by the alleys, it was so peaceful and filled with such a beauty as well.
Yes, I do love poems about the Cemetery too 😀 When I was a child I got to visit the grave of Robert Frost. Wish I had a picture of it!
That looks like an old cemetery. Wonderful photo. 😀
Yes! Thank you 😀
