The Mist

Recently I went to the beach to watch the sunset. As I walked along, an eerie fog rolled in (see on right of photo) as if rising from the sand. As the day comes to a close, the air on the beach cools, meeting the heat of the day and it creates this effect. It is actually quite fantastic, a bit mystical and certainly gives a touch of eeriness to the beach.

  1. I love sea fogs. We’ve been caught in a few coming home from prawning at 3am and they are scarier than any horror movie. There has to be a story in that🙂

  2. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen beach fog. We always go in the summer. I’ve seen lots of storms roll in. We like to beach at Destin, FL.

  3. You are really looking to have the beach so close to you, I used to live very close to the Sea. As a matter of fact it was just in front of my balcony so it was beautiful. I miss this, so enjoy this beautiful element

  4. Sorry I meant Lucky and not looking*
