Veteran’s Day

November 11th is a day that we honor members of the military that served our country or what is known as Veteran’s Day. The brave men and women that are veterans of a cause, America’s freedoms. I am blessed to have a father and two grandfathers that served, along with two brother-in-laws. I also have two friends that each lost a brother in service and know more that continue to serve.

I hope you will take a moment to reflect on what today means for each citizen of this country, then thank a veteran for their service.

  1. We have remembrance day here (might be all Commonwealth countries) all schools and government entities stop at 11am for a minute silence and we can buy poppies (used to be called Poppie day) or buy ANZAC badges.

(most government departments forget to start again though)
