“On Thursday it will be Thanksgiving in the USA and I thought we could do a grateful list for this week. Most of these questions can be answered with just a couple of words, just put down the first thing that comes to mind. Yes, I know you writers will never use just one or two words to respond to any question.” –Cee’s Share Your World
If you would like to get in on the fun, feel free to cut and paste this post and answer the questions too. Just make sure you let me know so that I can read what you are grateful for too. -Michelle
What are you grateful for in regard to:
- Your home life? Being able to homeschool my children. I don’t take for granted that I am able to be home to do this.
- Your family? A husband who meets our needs by working hard while giving us love and support. Also two very special teenagers.
- Your blogging community? Meeting new people from all over the world that I’d never have an opportunity to otherwise. Inspirational and beautiful people, no less!
- Your city or immediate area in which you live? Being able to enjoy the beach regularly.
- The regional area in which you live? Living in a warm climate after spending my first 35 years of life in the north. It is such a blessing.
- The country where you live? Freedoms that we enjoy daily and may even take for granted.
- You? I’m thankful for the creativity that the Lord has given me- through writing and my art.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
My needs continue to be met daily and goals accomplished. I look forward to spending Thanksgiving with my family and the kids being off school, so we can have some free time.
Happy Thanksgiving week! Enjoy your family and the warm climate!
Thanks so much! 🙂 Same to you!
Wonderful heartfelt answers this week. I love the quote you found. 😀
Thanks so much! Hope y’all have a Happy Thanksgiving! 😀
I take nothing for granite 🙂
It is so important not to! 🙂
I agree, I don’t need a lot of granite so it’s important not to….ok this is just getting silly 🙂
Granted…ooopps!! HAHA! 😜
Hahaha I didn’t want to make it too obvious 🙂
Good sport you are. I’m kicking myself, I hate grammatical errors 😛
I hate them too and I hate spelling errors, but considering how many I make it’s a wonder anything gets typed.
Well the worst is when it’s a real word and spell check doesn’t catch it 😦
I’m using a free word processor to write my novels rather than WORD and the words this thing doesn’t know is unbelievable, what’s more the words it can’t suggest are ridiculous. It accepts movie but not movies and it can’t come up with a suggestion as to what movies should be.
I’ve had that issue with WordPress 😦 That is ridiculous and frustrating! What type of book?
I’ve got one off with the editor at the moment which is about a road trip across australia which goes terrible wrong for one bad person. I’ve got another one written but sort of forgotten about a boss who gets his just deserts and I’m currently writing one where I’m not sure who is going to die yet.
This is very exciting! I’ve been playing around with a few book ideas. Poetry mixed with art/photography. Also toying with a mom’s stories type humor.
I’d love to do a photography book but don’t have the time to take the photos. I’ve also thought about making a daddy book but my memory is terrible. Some think it’s because I don’t want to remember or because the memories aren’t there but it’s just that my memory only wants to remember the bad stuff.
I don’t know what will happen with my books, I have no plans at the moment but it’s something I do to kill time.
Granted…ooopps!! HAHA! 😜
Happy Thanksgiving, fellow Homeschooling Mom!
Thank you for sharing your world!
Happy Thanksgiving 🙂 And thanks for stopping by!
It sounds like you have much for which to be grateful! If I had children at home now, I would be very much tempted to home school them. Many of my younger friends are doing this.
I certainly do! Yes, it is becoming much more common place. We are on our seventh year. There is quite a community of us now. Thanks for stopping by 🙂
