Journey By Sea

Safe Harbor© (Lake Champlain) by Mac

Come along to the edge of this great sea
On a ship, sail a boat, float away with me

Life is rough, waves are tough, but we’ll be
Safe on board, safe enough, to be care free

Don’t rock the boat, stay afloat, is my plea
Waters lap, white waves cap, we must flee

Journey’s end, sails we mend, land we see
Harbor lights, darkest nights, followed we

Made it through, me and you, land and sea
Path we took, didn’t look, kept eyes on thee

Now’s the end, so we will spend, all eternity
Take my hand, we’re to land, it’s you and me

  1. Stunningly beautiful, Michelle!
    The poem, too 😉

  2. I enjoyed sailing easy from the safe harbor to the edge of the great sea! Very reassuring! Very delightful reading.
