See Through Me

b690914ee208d7feb6aa477183acea1b

You see through me, for I cannot hide my heart away
Longing for a reprieve from feeling darkness someday

You know how black my soul is, you can see the hues
But yet how you can love this vessel, I’m so confused

How can I deserve one as you is such a great mystery
Our true love is the kind that goes in books of history

One day I hope that all the black from me fades away
Longing for a reprieve from feeling darkness someday©

  1. Aww, I do love a poem about… Well, love! Haha, this was beautiful Mac! Being accepted for everything that you are even though you might not like everything about yourself is pretty cool! Especially when you can accept someone else in the same way.

    Good Job!
