What is sweeter than a pair of puppies? Meet Lennon “Lenny” and McCartney “Micky”! They are my 6 week old babies. Born to the same mom (a Chihuahua)— one has a Jack Russel father and the other a Yorkie father (look up how that happens, lol!). They are the lights of my days.

Order In Chaos
“Chaos is merely order waiting to be deciphered.”
― José Saramago, The Double
In a world full of chaos I am drawn to order and straight lines. They bring me a sense of peace and happiness. Perhaps it is because with life around me going every which way; the hustle and bustle of people is enough at times to make me withdraw into my anxiety. I look for things that are neat, organized and precise. To capture these things in a photo is amazing and gives me great pleasure. ~Mac

Life’s Flower
“Love is the essence of life,
Love is the universal language of all creation,
Love is the eternal desire,
Love is the life’s flower with fragrance to share,
So feel the longing for love and being beloved.”

Fragile Petals
“Some women feel the need to act like they’re never scared, needy or hurt; like they’re as hardened as a man. I think that’s dishonest. It’s ok to feel delicate sometimes. Real beauty is in the fragility of your petals. A rose that never wilts isn’t a rose at all.” ~Crystal Woods

From Sunrise To Sunset
In the city of Myrtle Beach I always have opportunities to visit local areas where I can capture amazing sunrises and sunsets. In these photos you will see the sunrise from the shore of Myrtle Beach and the sunset captured from a market area named “Broadway At The Beach.”
Now, while these moments were planned, there are times that I see things around this beautiful city I would like to photograph, but I do not have my DSLR camera in hand. I have often wished that there was a compact DSLR camera with the same capabilities to capture in high-megapixel quality and powerful enough to take even the best low-light photos. A camera that I could easily carry in my pocket or throw in my purse. Recently I was introduced to The Light L16 Camera, developed by Light.co, and they have developed just this style of compact camera. I was thrilled to be asked to be part of their #VantagePoint Project which you can check out on Pinterest.
“The sun will rise and set regardless. What we choose to do with the light while it’s here is up to us. Journey wisely.” ~Alexandra Elle

A Historic Surprise
If you missed my post earlier this past weekend, I shared that I was venturing to Charleston, SC for my first time. My best friend and I were off for a girl’s weekend, a much needed break. So, with camera in hand, she gave me a tour of the historical city. There will certainly be more photos shared in the coming weeks, but I had to share this pleasant surprise I came across.
As we were on our way out of town, we drove by this splendid vehicle in front of a building that did it justice for sure. I asked (or more like squeeled delightfully) for my friend to pull over. Being a lover of cars, this was quite the treat to come across. I hope you enjoy this fabulous, classic Rolls Royce as much as I did.

Keep Your Vision
“Don’t be discouraged if people don’t see your vision, your harvest. All they see from their perspective is that you’re watering a whole lot of dirt. They don’t SEE what seeds you’ve been planting with blood, sweat, tears and lack of sleep. Make sure you don’t abandon or neglect it because “they” don’t see it. You have to KNOW and believe for yourself. They don’t see the roots and what’s budding under the dirt. But it’s okay, because it’s NOT meant for them to see it. While you wait, MASTER it. You continue to do YOUR work and have unwavering faith! Remember why you started planting in the first place. Your harvest WILL come!”
