You Can Never Satisfy Them All

022

Nobody can ever please everyone all of the time

In fact you won’t even satisfy half of them partly

Desiring to do things just to make others happy

One will accomplish gratifying nobody equally

Thereby forever working hard to be discontent©

Night Or Day

night-and-day-tree-silhouette-widescreen-wallpaper-wallpapershunt-com-9684

A battle rages for my mind
Two sides within one vessel
Pain it cuts my heart so deep
With choices I must wrestle

An Angel tells me I am weak
I’m lost and have gone astray
My only hope is, I must repent
Asking me to believe and pray

The Devil tells me I’m in charge
It is all there for an easy taking
Want and greed, luscious deeds
Not to worry what I’m breaking

As I struggle to make a choice
Pick between the night or day
I search for the answers within
Hope and pray I find my way©

Unapologetically You

If I could tell you one thing
Be true to yourself, always
If I could whisper two words
I’d want you to hear clearly
Let me speak slowly, “be you”
If I could shout three things
Loudly to the world, I’d say…
Do not apologize
For this is who you are
Let no one tell you who to be©
