1000 Wishes For You

“A Japanese legend indicates that anyone who folds 1000 paper cranes will be granted a wish. Sadako Sasaki was a Japanese girl who died from radiation sickness from the A-bomb dropped on Hiroshima. She wanted to fold 1000 cranes before her death at the age of 12. There is a peace monument to her memory in Hiroshima, and people from all over the world send paper cranes to the site.” Source

My wish for you is that you live a long and happy life, full of peace and joy. Moments of sadness will bound to be present, but from those I hope you flourish and grow. You may also find there will be times you fall down and fail, these too will be occasions to learn from. May you weather the storms of life with calm and thrive in the sunshine of happiness. When life gives you lemons I hope you make sweet lemonade or margaritas! And, most of all, I wish for you- family and friendships through your journey in life. Those that walk beside you for companionship and good conversation, or in times where you need held up, those that are willing to aide you. But most of all, those that love you unconditionally. These are my wishes for you. ~MM©
