“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, “Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.” ~Lewis Carroll, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
Winters in Vermont left me with some fabulous ‘ice covered tree’ photo shoots. Although I don’t miss the cold of the winter, living in the South, I do miss the fall and winter photo opportunities that the trees granted. I hope you enjoy these glistening trees with the sun gleaming through the ice and snow covered branches.
🙂 You’ve totally captured the prompt! Soon, we’ll have fall colors.

I will have to live vicariously through family still in Vermont. We do not quite hit the brilliant hues here in South Carolina as we did there, but I do have a few maples around that are pretty 🙂 Thanks you!
Oh! I thought you were in VT. Instead of bitter cold you deal with heat!
Which I love 🙂 It’s why we left the north!
😉 Cannot say that I blame you!
I love seeing pictures of snowy trees because they are so beautiful, but I’m glad I live where it doesn’t snow😎🌞

I love to see ice on trees. It’s sort of magical. But only if you don’t have to drive in the weather. 🙂
